Inverness Campus has an established and growing life sciences and health cluster, including supporting innovation across diagnostics, medtech, clinical research and health technologies.

With strong links to NHS Highland and academic partners, it offers an ideal environment to develop and test solutions in real-world settings - particularly those designed for rural and remote communities.

What’s happening here?

The Campus is home to specialist facilities including the Life Sciences Innovation Centre (LSIC), the National Treatment Centre – Highland, and strong partnerships with NHS Highland, the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) and Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC).

Activity spans early-stage innovation through to applied research, piloting and service delivery, with many organisations working closely with public sector partners.

A range of organisations at the Campus are working on technology enabled healthcare solutions, specialist clinical services and wellbeing support, often in collaboration with academic and clinical partners.
