Wick Business Park sits on the north-west edge of Wick, beside Wick John O’Groats Airport, just off the A99 John O'Groats road. It’s home to a growing mix of businesses in leased or self-owned office and industrial buildings.
Over the past few years, we’ve invested over £4 million in new flexible workspace - and we’re not stopping there. We're developing a masterplan for the next phase of development, which will create even more space to help local businesses grow and attract new investment to the area.
Available now: Two stunning high-quality units completed just last year are available for lease:
More space coming soon: We’re building four more units, due to be completed later this year (2025), offering the same flexibility and energy-efficient design.
Interested in your own plot? We have development land available for sale or lease. Talk to us about your plans.
Help shape the future of Wick Business Park – we're looking for your view!
We want to hear what local people think about our masterplan to grow Wick Business Park and help meet future demand from businesses in the area. Plans for phase 2 aim to build on the success of the existing site and provide space for more businesses in Wick and Caithness to grow.
The plans include flexible space for offices, industrial units, storage, and trade counters, with room for walking paths, green space and better access for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.
Before any planning application is submitted, we’re holding two drop-in events in Wick where you can view the plans, speak to the team, and share your thoughts.
Wick Business Park is about helping local businesses to grow while remaining in Caithness, as well as attracting new companies to the area. On a broader level it’s about boosting the area’s prosperity by supporting jobs, population growth and community resilience.
We're holding two consultation events where you can come along to view the proposals and talk to the team. We'll share the masterplan information here when the consultation starts on August 20.

The site is next to the airport so there are several considerations for the development.
The site for phase 2 sits on land that was once part of Highland Airways’ grass airfield and later RAF Wick. See how out plan takes this into account.
A Drainage Impact Assessment is being prepared for phase 2 to deal with foul and surface water.
Phase 2 sits on a former RAF Wick dispersal area. There’s a strong link to its WWII past - with field boundaries, air-raid shelters and defence posts recorded in the area. A desk-based impact assessment has been completed.
An investigation of potential contamination is envisaged and a construction management plan will be submitted.
We’re preparing to submit a planning application for Planning Permission in Principle (PPP). If that’s approved, more detailed applications for roads, services and buildings will follow.
We aim to submit a planning application in November 2025, with a decision expected by mid-2026. Your feedback matters, please comment below.
