Declarations

Attendance at this event qualifies as public sector support. Organisations must therefore satisfy HIE's fair work conditionality and sanctions due diligence.

  • our company/organisation pays all our employees/sub-contractors/apprentices aged 16 or over the Real Living Wage (as calculated by the Living Wage Foundation)

  • our company/organisation has effective and proportionate practices in place for employee engagement

  • our company/organisation opposes fire and re-hire practices

  • our company/organisation is investing in workforce development

  • (if 250 employees or more) our company/organisation meets the legal requirement to report on our gender pay gap

HIE’s standard practice is to conduct sanctions due diligence before entering into new agreements. This includes checking whether organisations are listed on the UK Sanctions List.

I/We the undersigned do hereby declare that:

  • our company/organisation is not listed on the above UK Sanctions List

  • our company/organisation is not owned or controlled by a person or persons listed on the UK Sanctions List

  • our company/organisation does not have any contractual relationships or other dealings with a person or persons listed on the UK Sanctions List or a person owned or controlled by a person or persons listed on the UK Sanctions List

  • our company/organisation will not source, supply or export from any of the sanctioned countries any goods, services or technology to be applied in the performance of the sponsorship agreement

  • our company/organisation is not established in Russia or Belarus

  • our company/organisation does not have any ‘Persons with Significant Control’ with Russia or Belarus stated as a place of residency

I/We the undersigned understand that we are required to keep the foregoing declarations under review and advise HIE immediately if we become aware that anything within these declarations changes during the Agreement Period.
