Position: Finance and administration officer
Location: Forres/hybrid working
Starting salary: £32,438 per annum. Potential salary progression to £36,700 per annum. Excellent pension and benefits package.
Contract/hours: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week
The role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative and IT skills who likes working with people, systems and data.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Forres, with the option of hybrid working. This post plays a critical role in providing high quality administrative support to the area team, using and becoming the office expert on a full range of systems and processes. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of management information and supports the client facing staff in the delivery of their daily duties and the area manager in external partnership activities.
As the finance contact for the area office with responsibility for supporting and reporting on the spend, budget, commitment and slippage, this role is essential in ensuring optimum efficiency of the Moray team, as well as ensuring consistent gathering of performance information is always readily available.
The person
You will be a team player with excellent administrative abilities, ideally gained in an administrative, financial or operational role. With strong interpersonal skills, you should be well-organised, with a pro-active approach, good attention to detail and be used to prioritising and meeting deadlines.
