As an organisation, we want our social media content to be transparent, to share as much information as possible with our audiences, and to foster an environment where we can collaborate with clients and partners. This policy offers advice and guidance on the benefits, legal considerations, and best practices for using social media in relation to HIE.

Most of our social media policy is to support staff, contributors and contractors creating posts for or about HIE. We also have acceptable behaviour conditions for social media users posting comments on our channels:
We welcome opinions and contributions on our platforms, and we don’t delete, moderate or block content as long as posts:
We reserve the right to suspend comments at any time, and to terminate involvement with anyone who posts inappropriate content.
