Midton Acrylics

Supporting growth at Midton Acrylics

Midton Acrylics Limited is a specialist manufacturing company which has been based in Lochgilphead since 1981.

Employing 45 people, they produce a range of custom products including bespoke acrylic lighting components, acrylic embedments, sculptural forms, recognition awards and deal toys.

During the pandemic the firm produced PPE, such as face masks, initially as a community service and then commercially. It was also able to start producing larger items, such as screening, that enabled social distancing in workplaces.

We're proud to have supported their development over many years, including:

  • capital investment in their new factory
  • financial and specialist advice
  • workforce skills support
  • new talent development through our graduate programmes

See our film to find out more from managing director Craig Cameron about their new product lines, the move to .com to reach new markets, and their growth into the American market.
