Background
CorporateHealth International (CHI) provides managed services for the analysis of digestive system diseases using minimally-invasive devices. Predominantly, that means detecting pathology in the large bowel with a video capsule endoscope (a vitamin-sized pill with 2 cameras that visualize the inner lining of the bowel).
CHI is a technology oriented services organisation, using innovative IT to enable our own medical staff and those from a customer, such as the NHS, to deliver these investigations efficiently at scale with consistent quality.
CHI’s headquarters are in Denmark, with operations also in Germany and the UK as well as a sister company in the US. The Inverness office is its largest and serves as the delivery hub for the UK and our global R&D centre.

The role
As a Graduate Health System and Service Designer at CorporateHealth International, you will have the opportunity to help design a new technology-enabled service which will positively impact patient and staff experience to bring value to the company.
This includes working on and designing a new internal infrastructure, interfacing with external infrastructures, as well as identifying and implementing improvements to processes using your own initiative and resources.
What you will do
Within this role you will be working with various departments to understand the requirements for a capsule service delivery, from clinical teams to understand compliance, to development teams to understand system design and deployment. This will entail many key tasks and responsibilities, such as:
- Developing UI (mock-ups) and collecting user experience
- Working with developers to improve service
- Working on multiple sub-projects at the same time
- Working with report and solving IT issues
- Attending regular meetings with internal team members and external parties
- Delivering reports to internal members and external parties in a timely manner
- Creating official workflow documentation to enable company development
As CHI is a multi-national company, the same principles would be applied to assist across the EU in important development operations. This multi-national assistance would be performed remotely from the Inverness base.

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum HNC in Computer Science or equivalent
Essential:
- Self-sufficient and able to work on own initiative
- Diligence in the day to day working and deliverables concerning healthcare data
- Basic knowledge of media editing
- Knowledge of MySQL and ability to manipulate with it
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure
- Fluent knowledge of Microsoft applications (Office365)
- Basic knowledge of web development
- Basic knowledge of data analytics
- Flexibility in working in a SME
- Passionate interest in healthcare problems/solutions
Desirable:
- Azure infrastructure knowledge
- HTML/CSS/WordPress skills
- DevOps
