Pathfinder Accelerator

Do you want to grow your business and get a new product or service out there? Pathfinder Accelerator can help fast-track Highland-based life sciences, technology, engineering, IT and healthcare businesses.

What it is?

Pathfinder Accelerator is a six-month programme led by experienced coaches to help you accelerate your business through a mix of workshops, masterclasses, face-to-face and remote 1-2-1 support, along with peer and self-directed learning.

The fully-funded programme provides a unique opportunity to:

  • Evaluate your business model
  • Pressure-test your idea
  • Build a network of key contacts
  • Save you time and money developing your plans

Pathfinder cohorts take place several times a year across the Highland Council area. We hold taster sessions before each cohort begins to allow interested businesses to come along and meet our expert coaches and speak to them about the programme.

This programme is a project delivered by the Northern Innovation Hub. This is part of the Inverness and Highland City-Region Deal - a joint initiative supported by £315m investment from the UK and Scottish governments, The Highland Council, HIE and University of the Highlands and Islands. This programme also receives financial support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Innovation strategic intervention.

Who can apply?

Pathfinder Accelerator is a business development and innovation programme for SMEs within the Highland Council area. Eligible applicants must be developing a new Life Sciences, Health, Technology or Engineering product, service, enterprise or internal process which will benefit the business and the local and national economy.
