The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETP) 2024 Research & Innovation Funding Call is a £5 million fund available for Scottish businesses (and partnering universities and research organisations) to access funding for research and innovation projects that support the energy transition.
The CETP programme is a transformative Research, Technological Development and Innovation (RTDI) programme, designed to accelerate clean energy transition through annual funding calls.
It’s an international collaboration involving 30 countries and more than 50 funding agencies, supported through the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation programme.
In Scotland, Scottish Enterprise is leading and delivering the programme on behalf of Scottish Government, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and South of Scotland Enterprise.
Through this partnership, there are 10 different funding areas that can be supported:
Applications will be considered under all 10 funding modules. However, as part of our eligibility process, projects will be expected to demonstrate relevance to the Scottish Government's energy strategies and should contribute to economic development in Scotland.
