These pages and links outline our involvement in transport policy and development for the region.

HIE does not deliver transport services itself, but supports the work of the Scottish Government, Transport Scotland, and the area's local authorities to develop and improve the region's transport infrastructure and services.  We also work closely with the three Regional Transport Partnerships that cover our area (HITRANS, Zet-trans and SPT).
