Improving our road infrastructure

HIE is working with HITRANS and the local authorities in our region to campaign for significant upgrades to our trunk and strategic road network. Currently efforts are focussing on the A9 south of Inverness and the A96 between Inverness and Aberdeen. HIE is also contributing to the Scottish Executive work looking at options for upgrading the A96 between Inverness and Inverness Airport.
