Option values, business and population impacts in transport assessment - scoping study

This study was commissioned by HIE in 2004, and was undertaken by the Institute of Transport Studies at Leeds University. The report evaluates the significance of 'option values', plus business and population impacts such as inward investment and migration when assessing the economic impacts of transport projects. It includes a review of previous research regarding the economic impacts of transport developments in the Highlands and Islands.
