HIE is working with Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd and HITRANS to develop improved air links to the region from key UK cities and international destinations.

With the Scottish Executive, we have co-funded the Air Route Development Fund for the Highlands and Islands, which has supported new services from Inverness to Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Nottingham East Midlands and Southampton, and a seasonal service between London Stansted and Sumburgh.
