The Scottish Investment Bank (SIB) supports the development of Scotland's private sector SME funding market to ensure both early stage and established businesses with growth and export potential have adequate access to growth capital.
SIB operates a suite of investment funds:
- The Scottish Seed Fund
- The Scottish Co-investment Fund
- The Scottish Venture Fund
Each of these equity funds adopts a highly innovative co-investment and shared risk intervention model to encourage more private investors to invest in early stage Scottish companies with high growth potential.
SIB is a division of Scottish Enterprise that provides investment funds to support company growth in Scotland. Please note, it is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Services Authority and may not accept deposits or provide general banking services.
