Keeping a diary up to date and managing tasks and time is a constant battle. Managing all those emails seems to be a never ending job. Have you ever wanted to keep your diary, list of appointments, jobs and emails in one place, make a print out of next months schedule and be reminded 10 days prior to your partner`s birthday? Take control with the aid of Outlook!

This lively hands on course will promptly get you up and running with Outlook. At the same time you will learn some of the fundamental procedures you can put in place to manage emails effectively and simple steps to make you work more efficiently

Target Audience: Anyone who has recently started using Outlook and would like an easy way to find out more about its functions and how they can be used for your own purpose. Anyone who would like to use Outlook for effectively managing emails and a diary

Content: You will learn how to:

  • set up and customise Outlook
  • manage emails and attachments
  • set up appointments and tasks
  • print and organise your calendar 

Objectives: By the end of the course you will be able to use the tools in Outlook to organise your work and emails. ou will be able to set up Outlook to remind you about appointments and when certain jobs are due.

Venue:  Aros, Portree

Pre-requisites: You must be a regular computer user and be sending and receiving emails on a regular basis. You must be familiar with Windows applications and be able to cut/copy/paste. if you are unsure about your skill level, then please contact your nearest learning centre for a free IT skills check.

Pre-course activity: Bring example appointments or items you would like to make as diary entries, a list of tasks and your questions for a troubleshooting session
