Skills development programme
Pooling resources at Culag Community Woodland Trust
HIE / Mike Roper

HIE’s community land team has devised a skills development programme to provide training and support in a variety of areas related to community asset management.

We can consider support and assistance for eligible groups who identify an appropriate training need that is relevant to their ongoing development.

Online resources

Please see our information and downloads section for a series of case studies on a range of community land initiatives, published in 2009.

You can access more training resources in the Mind Your Own Business section of the Scottish community land network (link in the orange box) - you must be registered to view this information.

A range of factsheets has been produced to provide additional support and advice to community groups involved in these activities.  The factsheets contain an overview of each topic, plus case studies and signposts to a range of tools and resources where you can find out further information, including key websites and organisations.

NB These factsheets were published in 2008.  Whilst they provide a useful background resource, please be aware that some of the information my be out of date.

To access the factsheets, click on the relevant links below.
