These profiles provide a snapshot of the economic conditions within key sectors in the Highlands and Islands. Within each profile a general description of the sector is provided as well as headline information on employment, business numbers, output and workforce/skills. An analysis of the main issues facing the development of each sector in the Highlands and Islands is also provided along with the key priorities for action that the HIE Network has identified to drive each sector forward.
