Scottish Enterprise is the economic development agency for southern Scotland, operating from Grampian in the north-east, through the central belt, to the Borders area and Dumfries and Galloway in the south-west. Like HIE, Scottish Enterprise works in partnership with the private and public sectors and aims to secure the long-term future of the economy in its area - by making industries more competitive.
