Rural Transport in the Highlands and Islands: A guide to good practice

The TAS Partnership Ltd and the Derek Halden Consultancy were commissioned by Highlands and Islands Enterprise in 2003 to carry out research into community transport in the HIE area.  The consultants reported in 2004, and one of the most useful outputs of their work was the document "Rural Transport in the Highlands and Islands - A Guide to Good Practice".

This bright and well-illustrated good practice guide is made freely available here as a pdf download (right hand side column) to assist community groups address their transport needs.  It provides practical advice and guidance, supported by a wide range of examples from across the country.
