KILN CORNER
Kirkwall represents Orkney's main administrative hub, and is also the location for an office development that was purpose-built by HIE Orkney and completed in June 2002.

Providing a total of 5,230 sq ft, the ground floor of this building is currently fully let to John Jolly, shipbrokers, Northlink Ferries Ltd and newspaper business, Orkney Today.

OTHER PROPERTY
HIE Orkney has purpose-built properties which from time to time become available to rent or purchase. These are located at Hatston Industrial Estate in Kirkwall, Garson Industrial Estate in Stromness and at Pierowall in Westray.

We have recently completed a survey to assess demand for further purpose-built units throughout Orkney and are awaiting a final report to help us decide how and where to build these.
