A crucial element of the work of the International affairs team is networking, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.  Learning from regions similar to ours and sharing best practice brings significant benefits to the HIE network and to the area as a whole.  Being a member of various networks also benefits the HIE network in terms of influencing policy development.
