100K Welcomes

100k Welcomes is the new national portfolio of training courses focusing on the Customer Experience.  It has been developed, for the Scottish Tourism Industry on behalf of Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise, with the industry’s active involvement. There are two versions of the programme;

The Leadership Programme is aimed at engaging industry from the top down. It’s vital that we influence decision makers and people who influence the way our staff experience tourism, to be champions of training and development.

The Operations Programme aims to tap into the creativity, pride and passion of frontline staff to help transform the customer experience.

This portfolio builds on the success of  Welcome Host and Scotland’s Best Service - over 70,000 and 20,000 people respectively have been trained since 1992. Today, Scottish Tourism is dramatically higher up the political agenda, more vital than ever to the Scottish economy – and the world has changed. Customers and competitors are growing more sophisticated and the pace of change is increasing all the time. Businesses need to learn how to take advantage of the opportunities as well as the challenges presented and achieve business and personal benefits as well as peer recognition. For more information have a look at the100K Welcomes website.
