HIE Moray are organising 3 e-tourism workshops on Tuesday 13th, Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th February 2007. These will be held in Horizon Scotland, Forres and are Free of Charge
All workshops run from 10am - 4pm and include lunch
Workshops:
Tuesday 13th February - Developing an on-line presence
This workshop is aimed at tourism based businesses with no or basic online presence and will cover:
- aims of a website
- pitfalls/choosing an ISP
- design basics/third party web design options
- International business element
Wednesday 14th February - Enhancing the tourism business uses of internet
For tourism businesses that already have a web presence and will cover:
- web design techniques
- comparing existing good practice web designs
- e-marketing/search engines
- international element/web assessments
Thursday 15th February - Making the most of internet and technology
For tourisim businesses with a web presence over 2-3 years covering topics:
- making the most of internet and technology
- Interactive online tourism experience
- content updates
- languages/international content
- e-commerce/online booking
