About us

HIE Moray is your local enterprise company - contracted to Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) to promote social and economic development in the Moray area of northern Scotland. Our services are aligned under four strategic objectives:

Strengthening communities
Developing skills
Growing businesses
Making global connecdtions

HIE sets performance targets for us to achieve under each objective.

The operation of HIE Moray is overseen by a board of directors drawn from local businesses and the wider community. Directors are unpaid and are appointed in accordance with the HIE Network's policy of 'appointability through openness'.

HIE Moray has a permanent full time complement of around 26 staff between its Forres and Buckie offices.
