Our mission is to: enable the people of Lochaber to realise their full potential by stimulating business development, encouraging training and learning, strengthening communities and enhancing the environment.

HIE Lochaber is your Local Enterprise Company (LEC). We are contracted, through Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), to promote social and economic development within Lochaber. We are an independent company and our directors come from local businesses and the wider community.

In effect, we are a one-stop shop for all kinds of information on financial help for developing businesses, training, community development and improving the environment.
