Duties to include, but not limited to: On- and off-site training Design and vetting of electronic circuits and PCB layouts. Responsible for up to three engineers / technicians. Work to ISO 9000 department procedures Project management
Qualifications: BSc / BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or related subject.
Experience: Raw graduate or 2 to 3 years min. experience
Required skills: Electronic circuit design – analogue, digital and microcontroller. Embedded software from assembler to high level C++. PIC microcontroller design Data acquisition circuitry Low power design, FET, IGBT’s, 3 Ph Electronic system design Design for SMT and efficient production practices.
Preferred skills: FPGA / CPLD / DSP / VSDL design Design for hazardous areas EEX i, EEX d, EEX p Electronics design in high temp, shock and vibration environments. Experience of environmental testing of electronics. CE approval EMC, LVD. Fieldbus interface design.
Salary: Upwards from £23,000 depending on experience
