Further to the programme rules issued in 2007, including the Get Ready for Work and Training for Work specific rules, below is some additional guidance on evidence acceptable for the submission of progression to Job/Job outcome claims for GRFW and TFW.

Alongside the guidance is a scanned example of good practice evidence to be used as a guide for you and any employers you are dealing with. Evidence faxed, or without the relevant statement/signature will be rejected. Please also note that the evidence should be signed by the same person as signs the outcome form.

To the right is a dummy example of a completed outcome form. This example clearly shows the use of an employers stamp. Where the outcome form is stamped like this, the form will be accepted in faxed form, or scanned & emailed. Originals are not necessary.

Please note that the stamp should contain data identifying the organisation - namely name & some form of location. A number only (e.g. Store 1838) is not acceptable.

Where the employer supplies headed paper, this paper should contain a message similar to that written on the example. The statement on the headed paper should be signed & dated by the individual who signs the outcome proforma also. Where signatures do not match, TMU will not accept the evidence for the claim.

Headed Paper evidence must only be submitted in original hard copy. Faxes, scans and photocopies are not permissible. Originals will be returned to you for your records  - TMU will retain a copy once the original has been verified.

A compliments slip is also acceptable as evidence, subject to the same criteria as the headed paper. Only the original will be accepted by TMU, and the compliments slip must again contain a statement similar to that on the example. Signatures must also match that of the proforma.

Original evidence will be returned to you for your records once verified by TMU.

Where a business card is given to you by the employer as evidence, the example to the right shows the acceptable format. The business card reverse should contain a statement matching those of the previous examples also, and again, requires signature by the individual signing the outcome proforma. Business cards cannot be attached to proformas in place of a stamp and faxed through. The original card, with statement on the reverse must be supplied.

Please note that the acceptance of business cards is under review and the above guidance may change for next year. In the interim however, please follow the guidance now in place.
