Located in Moray the Enterprise Park, Forres is proving to be a thriving location, for a diverse mix of businesses. Developed by HIE, the park extends over 9.3 hectare of land offering an excellent working environment, with an inspirational range of high quality units each flexibly designed for office, lab or industrial space. With over 60 acres to develop, the Park has potential for a number of proposed future units and sites.

Inverness Campus is one of the most exciting and important projects being developed by Highlands and Islands Enterprise over the next 20 years. The Campus will enable thriving businesses to work hand in hand in sharing knowledge and resources with those in research and education. The wide range of facilities on offer will provide amenity to the local community and give a greater choice to students of all ages considering higher and further education. The Campus will play a pivotal role in the region's future.

The Inverness to Amsterdam air route offers business travellers convenient and hassle-free connections through Amsterdam and onward as far a field as Dubai, New York and Singapore.

Phase 1 of European Marine Science Park in Argyll  has been completed and six new units have been built in Orkney for marine energy developers.

The Alexander Graham Bell Centre is designed to support the ground breaking work being carried out in digital healthcare in the Moray Region. The £6.5 million project has created a 1,674m² “centre of excellence” to support research, education and business. Located on the Moray College UHI Campus in Elgin, this collaborative hub will provide opportunities and facilities for new business and research, creating important and strong links between the private sector, medical practitioners and academia. Research and commercialisation units are available now for businesses.

The rollout of next generation superfast broadband, which will be available across all regions of the Highland and Islands, began in early 2013. Over 150,000 premises now have access to fibre broadband across the region.
