PRIN (Partnership for Rural Inverness and Nairn) brings together local people, agencies, the voluntary sector, private and public bodies to promote and co-ordinate sustainable development in rural parts of the INBSE area.

The work of PRIN involves:

  • supporting projects of local community groups or individuals
  • levering additional external funding for initiatives in the area
  • co-ordinating the work of key organisations
  • lobbying on issues affecting rural parts of the INBSE area

We can support – with finance or advice – a wide range of rural development provided it can be demonstrated that they are sustainable, have local benefit, are supported locally and need to be taken forward in partnership.

Broadly speaking, the types of project we may be able to support are:

  • Community facilities and services
  • Enhancement of the rural economy
  • Management of the natural and built environment

However, please contact us to discuss your project even if it does not appear to fall within these three categories. If we are unable to help, we will point you in the direction of others who may be able to offer assistance.

E-mail us for further information.
