Key business sectors

Our key sectors are defined as: high-technology manufacturing and engineering, tele-service businesses, food and drink, tourism, and the area’s more traditional industries.

A key aim is to support and develop innovative and dynamic businesses, but also to ensure that the needs of traditional businesses are reinforced. We therefore seek to provide informed input to decisions concerning the transport infrastructure, and environmental improvements in Inverness, the surrounding towns and rural communities, through its involvement in private and public sector organisations.
