Exploiting the opportunities to develop new and high quality businesses requires efforts to increase the commercialisation of research and innovation.

Despite its potential economic value, innovation is not easy to turn into a business or to fund. Being untried, an innovation presents a greater risk than established business expansion. Because the potential profits are great, innovation requires careful and often expensive protection.

We offer specialist research facilities in The Green House, providing meeting rooms, a general purposes laboratory, serviced facility administration and advice, and user-friendly lease terms, offering maximum flexibility at low risk to innovative companies. There are also discretionary grants available, together with loans and equity in appropriate circumstances.
