Forward planning can help local voluntary organisations, committees and boards identify and help overcome a range of common challenges facing community groups today.

Being able to identify the issues and come up with the solutions is the purpose of our Community Toolkit web site.

The online forward planning tool is designed specifically for community groups. It's a free service and should not take more than a few minutes to complete.

Based on our full forward planning exercise, the forward planning tool takes the form of an interactive questionnaire. The tool gives community groups an insight into whether they would benefit from a full forward planning exercise.  This exercise consists of a half-day programme where an experienced facilitator works with the voluntary organisation through a self assessment questionaire.

With this snapshot, your organisation and one of our experienced advisers can together draw up a tailor-made action plan that when fulfilled will ensure you are on the road to an improved future.

Those that will benefit most from forward planning are community groups that are:

  • recently formed and wish to ensure they are on the right track
  • well-established groups who want to inject new vigour
  • experiencing difficulties and want to find the cause and the cure

E-mail us for further information or if you would like a paper version of the questionnaire.
