Finance for business
Is yours a business which makes products or delivers services in our area? Will the setting up or the expansion of your business create jobs in the area? Will you be able to sell your goods or services outside as well as inside the area, and perhaps replace those currently imported? If the answer is yes, you may be able to apply for finance in the form of a grant, a loan or equity. Like all funds we offer, they are at the discretion of the HIE Inverness and East Highland board. We consider in particular whether the funds will make something happen which would not happen otherwise, whether the development is value for money, the extent to which it displaces business or jobs elsewhere, and the extent to which your project or business will be sustainable.
