Last year there were over 130,000 Employment Tribunal claims in Great Britain. Many of these arose from inadequately documented employment contracts and failure to follow proper employment procedures.
This training session is a ‘must’ for all employers, particularly small businesses who do not have procedures covering dismissal, discipline and grievance. We provide guidance on issues such as misconduct, capability and employee grievances. We then examine contracts of employment, including the legal requirement of constructing a written statement of main terms & conditions. By the end of this session you will know how to introduce and operate practices and procedures which are fair, effective and easy to understand.
