Effective and robust community organisations rely on the skills and abilities of the boards, committees, staff and volunteers who run them. Regardless of their activities, there are certain generic skills and knowledge that provide the building blocks of successful community and voluntary groups.

We work closely with our partners to review the on-going needs of communities. In addition we run a series of community training seminars, focusing on topics suggested by communities. Local communities should look out for the programme ... it's the one with the 'elephant' on the front.
