Finance for business development may be  available to businesses seeking to undertake viable projects in the Outer Hebrides. 

What assistance is available?

Discretionary grants and loans may be available and, where appropriate, equity investment.

Businesses are normally required to raise the majority of the project funding from private sector sources.

Priority is given to projects that will create additional employment opportunities without creating job displacement elsewhere within the area, or distorting the local market situation.
