'Meet the Buyer' is one of the two essential UK marketing opportunities offered by the HIE network.

Meet the Buyer helps Highlands and Islands food and drink producers to optimise their product and sales pitch and then introduces them to selected UK buyers. This sales development programme enables producers to:

  • Identify the specific product requirements of targeted buyers
  • Supply selected buyers with a detailed profile of their company
  • Provide buyers with product information and samples
  • Arrange face-to-face meetings with buyers, often within the HIE area
  • Receive pre and post-event training
  • Identify other sources of help and development
  • And, where necessary, develop press and PR packs

Assistance is open to all bona-fide food and drink producers and manufacturers with a production base in the HIE area.
