The HIE area possesses a wealth of well-educated and talented people, none more so than in the new high-tech industries. Because of the particular challenges associated with development in this market sector, HIE has created an Outreach Incubator to grow good ideas into viable ventures.

Our Outreach Incubator, externally managed by New Park Management, provides a comprehensive end-to-end service to help high-tech entrepreneurs realise their goals. The service spans initial assessment of a project, through raising finances, to finding premises.

The service is free and available to those with a technology business idea or who have recently launched such a business. HIE, however, may wish, at a later stage, to exercise an option to recover part of the cost once the business is established. This may take the form of any one, or a combination of, a fee, royalties on sales or a share of profits, equity or intellectual property rights.
