Excellence in Education through Business Links (EEBL) is the programme that allows you to further your own knowledge of the industry and business world and disseminate this knowledge in the classroom and for businesses to learn more about what tomorrow's employees are taught in school.

An EEBL placement can be counted towards your Continuous Professional Development or you can get paid outside of term time. Cover for supply teacher is available if you decide to undertake your placement in term time.

If you are doing your Scottish Qualification for Headship an EEBL co-ordinator can help you find a suitable placement looking at management structure.

A placement lasts a minimum of two days but need not be taken in consecutive order, but has to be completed within a year.

The initiative supports Continuing Professional Development, Scottish Qualification for Headship, National Priorities for Education, Smart, Successful Scotland and the Scottish Executive response to Determined to Succeed.
