e-Business Technology Transfer (e-BaTT)

ATTENTION ICT SUPPLIERS

Highlands and Islands Enterprise is proposing to run a one day event for ICT suppliers in the area in Quarter 2 2006 through its e-Business and Technology Transfer programme (e-BaTT).

We would like feedback from ICT suppliers as to the potential content of the day, and also whether other enterprise network support through the programme or elsewhere is required.

Project overview

e-BaTT: e-Business Technology Transfer

The e-BaTT project is a HIE network-wide pilot scheme, co-funded by the European Social Fund and will run to Summer 2006. The pilot has been developed in association with Napier University.

Based around a modified version of the EFQM business excellence model, participating businesses will have their core business strategy reviewed and key issues addressed. In doing so the programme aims to raise the productivity, efficiency and competitive advantage of client companies in the HIE area.

The key objectives of the pilot are to support entrepreneurs to overcome development obstacles to internally plan and implement sustainable technology solutions, with a strong emphasis on skills transfer between the adviser and the entrepreneur.
