| 18 November 2008 Major investment in a well established Highland business solutions company is helping it expand globally into new markets beyond the UK. C3 Amulet Ltd from Dingwall is injecting significant investment into its business operations for new premises on the outskirts of the town. This will allow the company to get the latest information technology, develop its brand, explore new international markets, and invest in recruitment and staff training. Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) has approved £24,800 towards these costs and seven new jobs will be created as a result, increasing the overall workforce to 45 full time employees. C3 Amulet expects to grow to 60 people within two years. The investment will allow the company to achieve sustainable growth internationally in the chosen sectors of oil and gas, water, power, refrigeration, health and service industries. The company provides solutions to its customers, to developing best practice and continuous operations that improve their business performance, asset management and workforce optimisation. Chief executive of C3 Amulet, David Smith, said: "We are a Highland based company operating globally and a recent strategic review clarified the company's ambitions to expand into global markets." "As a solution provider, more emphasis is being given to our consultancy skills and industry experience within our target sectors." "We will continue to focus on creating value for our customers on a long term basis, underpinning our company's aspirations of sustainable and continued growth." HIE has worked closely with C3 Amulet. The company lease their new premises from the north development agency on the Dingwall Business Park. James Gibbs, HIE area manager said: "C3 Amulet has moved into its new premises and can now offer flexible business solutions to its clients worldwide, and this development will help to provide further opportunities for employment in the area." "We will continue to work with this company to help it realise its plans. Working closely with businesses like C3 Amulet, which have high growth potential will help the economy of the Highlands and Islands to grow and prosper in the future." | |
