Travel Bursaries Available to Attend Craftscotland AGM
Craftscotland are holding their AGM on Friday 12th December 2008&nbsp;in Edinburgh (12.30pm to 3pm at the Festival Theatre) and HI-Arts are offering encouraging those from the Highlands and Islands to attend by offering travel bursaries for up to six people.<br />

Music celebrating life and work of Ronald Center
Music celebrating life and work of Ronald Center Emily White is a violinist and trombonist from England who came to Huntly for a four months residency to research the provenance of Ronald Center, a yet to be fully discovered composer who lived in Huntly most of his adult life. During 2008, Emily developed a comprehensive project to include the first performance and a recording of Center's string quartets.

Call to Artists - RSA Alastair Salvesen Scholarship
Sponsored by the Alastair Salvesen Trust in association with the RSA, the Alastair Salvesen Art Scholarship is a major initiative intended to encourage young painters who have made the transition from college to a working environment. Now in its 20th year, the painting &amp; travel award of up to £10,000 includes a solo exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy. The deadline for entries is the 12 January 2009.
