The Scottish Land Fund is a programme which supports community organisations across Scotland to own land, buildings and other assets. Funded by the Scottish Government, grants of up to £1million are available.
Watch our video to hear more from HIE's Head of Community Assets, Ailsa Raeburn, explain what the Land Fund is all about.
The current programme runs from 2016-2020 with an annual budget of £10 million. Delivered in partnership between HIE and the Big Lottery Fund, we have a team of advisers to help you build your project.
The Fund will support projects that involve land and property ownership, that are community-led, community controlled and will deliver socio-economic impacts.
Stage One funding can support the costs of feasibility work to prepare for a Stage Two application towards the costs of purchase.
If you think your idea fits the criteria, get in touch with your local adviser from the list on the left.
