At a difficult time, you need access to information which is going to help you move forward.

That is why the public agencies in our area – HIE Caithness and Sutherland, Jobcentre Plus, the Highland Council – work together to assist in coping with the redundancy situation. Other agencies like Careers Scotland, the North Highland College and other Training Providers work along with the three partner agencies. Collectively, our work comes under the PACE banner. PACE stands for Partnership Action for Continuing Employment.

PACE has developed a series of 10 information sheets to try to make sure you have all the contact details you need – at least at the initial stages of redundancy.

These sheets are available by clicking on the downloadable file 'PACE Information' at the bottom of this page.

PACE can also work with employers facing difficult decisions about employment. Use the agencies’ contact details early in the process of making decisions about staffing, and we will be happy to offer help.
