Two-day workshop

Aims:

This two day practical workshop will help increase and develop the vital skills needed by today’s team supervisors.  Through a combination of discussions, personal and group exercises and role play, the delegates will come to better understand their roles and responsibilities as communicators and how to act for improved management performance.

Content:

  •  The importance of leadership and the qualities and skills necessary to develop
  • To motivate and gain commitment from the team members
  • To develop problem solving and decision making techniques
  • To effectively communicate at all levels in the workplace
  • To undertake effective staff briefings
  • To set team objectives and goals and be able to track and evaluate these to maximise performance levels

Date: Wednesday 27th - Thursday 28th February 2008            

Location: The Portland Arms, Lybster, Caithness

Times: 10am – 5pm
