Programme – one day per month for four months

Programme leader:

Iain Fraser lives in Dornoch and has considerable experience in marketing.  He has lectured in the business schools of Glasgow University and the Open University as well as running his own business.

Aims:

Strategic Marketing aims to equip senior managers with an up-to-date set of the major tools required to formulate robust strategic marketing plans to ensure the continuing competitive success of their organisation.  Attendance at all four workshops is essential.

Content:

  • Introducing modern marketing processes and theories
  • Developing within the group a practitioner facility with the tools, theories and notions of marketing management
  • Helping to identify emerging marketing issues within the business environment
  • Establishing meaningful links between the strategic elements of modern marking management practices and the tactics employed in the support of the achievement of corporate strategic objectives
  • Producing effective marketing plans

Dates: Friday 15 September / Monday 16 October / Friday 17 November / Friday 15 December

Times: 9am - 5pm

Location: Glen Canisp Lodge, Assynt, Sutherland

Location: Ackergill Tower, Wick, Caithness (20/09 & 13/12) and Mackays Hotel, Wick, Caithness (19/10 & 23/11)
