Graduate placement vacancies

For the candidate to be eligible they must hold a minimum of an HNC and have graduated within the last four years without a permanent job at a graduate level for more than a year since their latest graduation. All candidates that meet this criteria and have the skills for the job can apply.

Graduate - FèisTV CoordinatorFèisean nan Gàidheal, salary £18,746 per annum.

Fèisean nan Gàidheal, established in 1991, supports the development of community-based Gaelic arts tuition festivals throughout Scotland.

Fèisean nan Gàidheal has also launched a digital online service called FèisTV, which has created an exciting 12-month placement opportunity for FeisTV Coordinator, based in Inverness. 

FèisTV aims to ensure the Blas Festival and Fèis Cèilidh Trails have the ability to increase their reach massively, offering the potential to attract viewers to attend the festival and Cèilidh Trail events in future years. FèisTV will enable Fèisean nan Gàidheal to offer a worldwide audience the opportunity to access high quality content that showcases and promotes Gaelic culture, traditional music and song in a modern context.

  • Norscot Joinery Ltd, based in Wick, Caithness, is a leading manufacturer of energy efficient timber frame kit homes, windows and doors. They are offering an exciting 12 month placement for a graduate with knowledge of marketing and social media which will entail developing and implementing processes to enhance our market presence, both locally and overseas. At present Norscot Joinery’s main customer base is in the Highlands & Islands and they now aim to realise their growth aspirations by expanding their customer base both locally and internationally. The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of a marketing and social media strategy for the company.
