We deliver comprehensive overseas market support to Scottish-based companies on behalf of UK Trade & Investment (UKTI). This includes UKTI’s Overseas Market Introduction Service (OMIS) and their Export Market Research Scheme (EMRS).

Are you eligible?

Scottish-based companies with fewer than 250 employees may be eligible for a grant of up to 50% of agreed research costs.

  • Extensive market research support in European markets from EES
  • An overseas market report giving you a snapshot of local market and sector opportunities from in-country experts, also referred to as UKTI’s Overseas Market Introduction Service (OMIS)
  • A customised report detailing export and international trade opportunities, also referred to as UKTI’s Export Market Research Scheme (EMRS)
  • Recommendations on how best to tailor your messages to an international audience through UKTI’s Export Communications Review
  • Specific market development support in the USA to help you get a foothold in North American markets – Scotland’s top export destination
