Supporting women entrepreneurs in ambitious businesses

The Highlands and Islands are home to many vibrant, ambitious, innovation-driven businesses. However, there is under representation of women leading these organisations. HIE supports a number of initiatives that aim to redress the balance across the Highlands and Islands:

Highlands and Islands women entrepreneurs

Two leading female entrepreneurs from the Highlands and Islands are amongst the first ever WES (Women's Enterprise Scotland) Ambassadors. Watch the inspiring videos from Kirsteen Stewart of Kirsteen Stewart Designs in Orkney and Anja Baak from Great Glen Game in Lochaber.
