Terms and Conditions

  • By submitting an application you are agreeing to be available for interview on 20 or 21 July 2015 in Stirling and to take part in the four full days of this residential course from 4-7 August in Stirling.
  • There is no charge for taking part on the Scotland CAN DO SCALE 2015 programme but this support is in the form of de minimus State Aid and if you have an existing business, you must count this towards your de minimus allowance. All participants will be issued with a de minimus letter with the exact amount of State Aid support you have received in advance of the course beginning. Find out more about EU State Aids >
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee a place on the SCALE 2015 programme. Your written application will be assessed and if you are shortlisted for interview, you will be advised by email on Wednesday 15 July 2015. Interviews will take place on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 July 2015 in Stirling. Interviewees will then be advised if they have successfully secured a place on the SCALE 2015 programme by Wednesday 22 July 2015.  Places are limited to ensure maximum participation from and impact for the attendees.
  • The information and photo you provide for the SCALE Programme Participant Profile Book will be published in the SCALE Programme Participant Profile Book which is shared with other participants, SFC, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Scottish Enterprise and our partners delivering the programme, for the purpose of the programme, and will not be used for any other purpose. The other information you give on this form will be used by SFC, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Scottish Enterprise and our programme suppliers for the purpose of delivering the course to you.
  • We may also use your contact details to advise you about events (such as workshops and seminars) that are run by us or our partner organisations in support of entrepreneurs which we feel may be of interest to you, and for other purposes in accordance with our data protection obligations.
